Marketing Associate II
Job Title:Internal Marketing Associate
Reports to:National Sales Manager
Location:Reno, Nevada – possible relocation assistance for the right candidate
Navellier is a well-established, highly respected investment management firm that has earned a reputation for delivering superior asset management services coupled with a high degree of client satisfaction. The role of the Internal Marketing Associate is critical in helping Navellier achieve its dual goals of growing assets under management and giving clients an unparalleled level of customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Help generate sales and build assets-under-management for Navellier;
- Deliver world-class service to Navellier’s clients;
- Manage all inbound sales calls for the sales territory supported;
- Provide fast and accurate follow-up to all inquiries and problems coming from Navellier’s clients;
- Work closely and communicate frequently with assigned Regional Consultant(s);
- Act as a liaison between the Regional Consultant(s) and home office staff;
- Schedule and confirm appointments for Regional Consultant(s) and, when requested, other members of the Navellier team;
- Contact new advisors who have recently opened accounts with Navellier (either by phone or email), to answer any questions and ensure that the everything is working smoothly;
- Contact advisors who have recently closed significant accounts ($250,000 or more) and determine the reason for the closure and enter the reason in SalesForce.com; (if the account was closed for any reason outside of performance, or that the client needs have changed, those details must be communicated to the Sales Manager);
- Update SalesForce.com with the details of all significant contacts with financial advisors (phone conversations, emails, etc.); update, as well, all current contact information (firm, address, phone, email address, etc.);
- As directed, follow-up on meetings and appointments attended by the Regional Consultant and as appropriate, enter contact information for new prospects and clients into Salesforce.com, including details of their interest in our services;
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree;
- Previous investment company sales experience a plus;
- Detailed oriented, with the ability to “multi-task”;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills;
- Ability to maintain extensive phone contact with financial consultants and outside business partners and to be responsive to their needs;
- Willingness to “cold call” financial advisors seeking appointments for the Regional Consultant(s);
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Ability to learn internal CRM, SalesForce.com, mapping software and other relevant software;
Working hours: M-F days, eight hours per day; Travel: minimal
